Wellness and Inclusion
June Update
Our renamed Wellness & Inclusion Group has developed an ambitious plan for the year, centred around three key areas:
D&I – Our mission is to foster inclusivity and equity across Tactical Solutions, ensuring that everyone feels valued and respected.
Development – We aim to celebrate colleague success, share best practices, and empower our people to achieve their full potential.
Awareness – We want to ensure that all colleagues are aware of opportunities available to them, personally and professionally.
Next Steps
The group will prioritise the outlined activities and develop a plan with a clear timeline to tackle them.
May Update
It was fantastic to see the diverse representation from across the business as we launched the People working group last month.
- We explored the B Corp deck to understand the purpose behind our initiatives and how this group can make a positive impact for Tactical Solutions
- We also discussed areas such as Mental Health, Diversity & Inclusion, and Performance & Development. We already have some great ideas that we canât wait to start implementing!
Whatâs next?
- Weâll be reconvening in a few weeks with further ideas for implementation. Then weâll create a plan-on-page with initial timelines, assigning specific ideas to sub-groups to bring it to life
- Our next meeting is scheduled for June 8th
Community
June Update
The Communities Group have crafted a powerful action plan which focuses on various ways we, as a company and individuals, can provide support and make a difference in people’s lives. Here’s a sneak peek at their upcoming initiative:
đŚ Food and Clothing Donation Boxes:
We’re thrilled to announce that we’ll be setting up donation boxes at both the Tactical Solutions and Dee Set offices.
Additionally, we’ll encourage field colleagues to participate by locating public drop-off points in their local areas.
What’s next?
Keep an eye out for further information on this initiative. We’ll share more details with you soon!
May Update
The team came together last month, and food bank support was at the top of the agenda.
- A Food Bank hub at âThe Hubâ is going to be set up and we encourage everyone who comes to the office to donate a tinned, dry food, or household item
- We kindly ask for one item per month, considering that some people are in greater need than others
- Team Meetings – We also aim to start collections at team meetings held outside the office. Simply bring an item to add to the food bank donation!
Whatâs next?
Stay tuned for more info as we iron out the finer details in our next meeting.
