So in order for you to get to know Darshna, and give her a proper Tactical welcome, we sat down with her to get the lowdown on her amazing career, her new role and what exactly sheâll be bringing to Tactical Solutions.
Darshna Patel joined Tactical just last month as our brand new Senior Business Unit Controller.
After graduating from University with a degree in Business Management, Darshna knew she always wanted to work with large, much-loved brands. In 2006, her passion and aims led her to Tescoâs Head Office where she managed the launch of their non-food catalogue, and then eventually led her to Sainsburyâs Head Office in 2008 where she took charge of their Frozen Foods and Confectionery sectors.
By following her forever growing interest in brands and field marketing, Darshna utilised her experience and took her skills over to Mars Wrigleys where she started off in Supply Chain but eventually made her way to Sales. Her skills and ability to provide big brands with the results they deserve then took her to the Princes Group in Liverpool, as well as Duracell, until she finally took the leap and came to work for Tactical Solutions. Her years enriched with working with some of the UKâs biggest brands, as well as her evident passion for our industry, made her the perfect match as our brand new Senior Business Unit Controller!
After taking us through her incredible career so far, Darshna explains that her evident work ethic and drive stems from her thorough understanding of our industry, and of course the support given to her by her family:
We then asked Darshna whether she had any quotes in life which help her maintain this amazing approach to work:
“Either âWork hard, play hard!!â or âOne team, one dream – balance is so important!” And here at Tactical, that is something we love to hear!
We also asked Darshna if she could describe herself in just three words, what would they be?
“Definitely fun, passionate and driven – itâs those three qualities that have allowed me to be where I am today!”
After hearing so much about Darshnaâs admirable approach to work and her amazing career journey, we ended our chat by asking arguably the most important question of all: what are you most excited about working for Tactical Solutions?
