It’s been a whirlwind 14 months for six of our colleagues as they took on our first ever Sales Apprenticeship Programme.
They’ve gone from classroom to computer, and even eaten some frogs along the way, but now it’s finally time to pop open the champagne and celebrate their achievements!
We could wax lyrical about their successes all day, but we know you’d rather hear what they have to say:
Chris Skelding, Account Manager: “It’s rare you get the opportunity to do these types
of qualifications, especially if you already have a degree, but we have a great learning and development programme here. It’s made me more efficient, motivated and proactive.”
Business unit controller, Matt Blencowe: “I’ve worked in retail for over 28 years, but I’ve never actually had any official sales training. This was the perfect opportunity to delve into the theory behind the practice. I was surprised by how much I already knew – it’s given me more context and confidence. It highlighted what I needed to do to talk to customers and is really ingrained in everything I do now.”
