It feels like yesterday that we were seeing what we got up to in October – but just like that December is here and we’re taking a look back at what November had in store for Tactical! From more filming to trips out to stores, Tactical’s had another great month. So without further ado, here’s the lowdown!
7th November – We’re Recruiting!
Fancy joining our team? Lucky for you, we have added a long list of new vacancies to our Careers Page, allowing the right candidate the chance to see if they’ve got what it takes to join our fun, dynamic team here at Tactical. Some of the roles include;
- Fixed-term contracts both within Grocery and Convenience
- As well as four new Business Unit Controller for our Convenience sector
- And many more!

12th November- Lights, Camera, Action!
A few round-ups back we spoke about a particularly exciting day at Tactical Headquarters where we had a film crew pop in to help us with our Christmas video. Well, on the 12th we had them back again to help us create a top-notch video to promote our 2020/21 Student Placements. We wanted to portray Tactical as the great office as it is, showing our potential recruits what working at Tactical is truly like!
13th/14th November – Out and About
The 13th/14th was a particularly busy week as many of our in-store teams were out visiting Co-op and Tesco stores up and down the country. These particular trips were for Mars Wrigley Confectionery and Baylis & Harding – two brands that are certainly going to be busy in the upcoming month!
20th November – The Search for the Placement Star
So the video came out brilliantly and we used it’s launch to begin the search for our next placement student! Thanks to one successful placement after another, Tactical set off to the University of Chester to further spread the word of the amazing opportunities that we have to offer in June 2020. The star of our promotional video was previous placement student Jeremy, who tells the viewers about his experience at Tactical and what he got up to during his time here.
26th November – Tactical’s Favourite Christmas Ads
As you may have already seen, Tactical got into the Christmas spirit little early by doing a countdown of some of our favourite Christmas Ads of 2019! There were smiles, laughter and just a few tears as we made our way through this year’s contenders, and in our of latest blog posts, you can see Tactical’s official Top 5! As well as a few more that we just couldn’t leave out.
